Elements’ Best-In-Class Approach To
Internal & External Compliance Programs
Elements is dedicated to full adherence with global data protection requirements. Elements has implemented internal and external programs to ensure best practices for risk management processes, training, third-party management and other protocols and policies.
Together these ensure that all Elements employees, directors, officers and consultants follow all laws, regulations, standards and ethical practices that apply in all our businesses. We partner with our clients and their employees to ensure our systems meet and exceed any compliance requirements globally for ethical business practices.
A key component of our compliance programs is the importance that Elements places on protecting employee and client personal data. We uphold all our clients and vendors to the highest standards for data protection.
Elements uses General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as the baseline standard for all data protection requirements. It is applied to the maximum extent across our more than 160 entities worldwide, except in instances where local requirements contradict it or where there are more stringent legal requirements, which cases we adapt accordingly.
Elements enforces a corporate culture that promotes preventive measures, detection and resolutions of instances that do not conform with applicable laws or ethical and business practices. We employ top of the line security management for all personal data with dedicated teams to support, protect and report this key aspect of our business.
In the unlikely event of a security breach, the compliance team is ready to work with clients, their employees and the necessary teams to support and protect against any potential losses. Elements takes a proactive approach and work towards a risk-based approach for compliance and ethics management. We do this by identifying the high-risk areas within the organization and effectively plan control testing.
